Hey everyone,
I jumped on Underground Drifters the other day, saw a few old friends and had a few races... had a lot of fun. Not only that but I have a bit of spare time now so I see it as something I might be able to do (become active on drift servers)
No promises yet, but I hope to make some updates for the Total Consciousness drift server - starting with updating it to 0.3z lol -, but perhaps even working on a newer version of a map pack. Should be fun :)
It's been a long time since my last post here (as you can see, November last year), so I thought I should put an update here... if anyone still reads it :)

Stepping down from TC Leader
As the title of this post says, I've decided to step down as the 'leader' as Total Consciousness.
My in-game name will now be: Naka
This is not due to any disputes / disagreements that have happened, it is a decision I have come to after much thought.
The Total Consciousness server will remain up, and will remain under that name unless the clan (TC) disbands, in which case it's name will be changed.
The IP is still the same, however may be moving shortly to samp.gta-sarp.com:4505

Total Consciousness Server: Bots/NPCs added.
Added a feature to the Drift Server, you can now record your own bot/npc, this will record what you do (animations, driving, etc), and then you can play it back! If you want to give it a try, join up now:

Type "/rec" in-game for more information on how to make your own NPC.
At this stage, you can only record 1 bot at a time, but in the future I will increase this amount.
Please tell your friends about this feature, and share the information where you can.

Retexturing San Andreas (Test)
Hey everyone,
It's been a long time..
Recently I learnt that SAMP made it possible to edit GTA SA textures in custom.img..
Anyway i'm not going to go into details, but I retextured bigear and missionary hill (often /drift3).
If you would like to download them, you can download them here:

It's only a test, so it's not perfect.
First step, extract the textures from the .zip file.
Second step, you will need some sort of .img editing program. I recommend IMGTool.
(download imgtool here: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/get/552)
Open imgtool.exe, then go "File -> Open", then open 'GTA SA \ SAMP \ custom.img'
Then go "Commands -> Add" and add all of the .txds which you downloaded and extracted.
Then go "Commands -> Rebuild archive".
Now hop in game, you should notice that Bigear is retextured, aswell as Missionary Hill.
Enjoy, and remember, it's only a test. It's not that 'pretty'.

I am currently uploading more mirrors, so there will be other websites/links you can use.
Inside you will find maps.jpg, which will show you where all the maps locations are.
You will also find readme.txt which will explain how to install it manually (and using installer)
Follow the easy steps.

Update on Mappack v1.3
As most of you have heard, the trailer/teaser video got canceled, and we were hoping for a July release. This is still going to happen (the july release). My github (our way of sharing the mappack to all work on it) has crapped out, and stopped working. Finishing off the mappack has been hard because of this.
We've all been trying our hardest these few days to get it released, so please be patient. Shhada had to pull an all-nighter (stayed up all night) to finish off what he was working on.
It'll be out very soon, most likely within the next 24 hours.
